How do I get a collection bucket?

Come to Helpdesk at the York SU offices and we can arrange collection buckets for you. We’ll provide the bucket and seal and will pass it onto York SU Finance, who will either deposit it into your group’s account or donate it to the charity.

Collection buckets are only available to York SU associated groups that wish to fundraise on behalf of a charity or for their own funds. We do not loan out tins and buckets to non-York SU affiliated groups or individuals.

If you will be doing a street collection, you will need to obtain a permit from the council before collecting your buckets from us. Contact j.pledger@york.org  to discuss this further.
